Departmental overview
The Product Design team translate business requirements into an effective operational design commensurate with brand values. As subject matter experts the team are involved in, and provide business assurance at, each project lifecycle stage from requirements definition- through design and testing- to implementation and live support. The team work with a mix of stakeholders including legal and policy, communications, web design, IT analysts and operations professionals.
Role overview
The role is to provide analytical and project support to a small, established team. The role requires excellent business analyst skills and project management experience demonstrated in an IT/change environment. Applicants will ideally have relevant experience in the wider financial services sector and be committed to developing their expertise in pensions.
Role deliverables
- Tracking and resolving outstanding requirements and pension design issues and communicating progress and outcomes.
- Developing a deep understanding of any stated issue, gathering information and applying business analysis to evaluate options and make recommendations on preferred solutions.
- Support in contributing to and managing the quality review of pension administration design documents.
- Meeting briefing requests and developing material for presentations of a pension technical nature.

- Developed analytical skills with an ability to critically analyse issues, consider options and develop recommendations based on solid reasoning
- Experience of working in an IT/change project environment is desirable
- Some experience in the financial services sector is desirable

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Developed interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport across teams in pursuit of business goals.
- Familiar with the MS office suite
