The Product Director- NPD Catheters manages all global marketing aspects of new catheters and line extensions. This individual will be responsible for managing the marketing activities in an organized manner and following the necessary steps that will lead to developing products meeting our standards and customer needs. These responsibilities include obtaining and analyzing Voice of Customers (VoC), seizing the opportunity of a new product, working in conjunction with RD colleagues and understanding the process for new products development. This NPD position also includes responsibilities around naming, branding and the creation of attractive and innovative field collaterals for new products. The chosen candidate will work on demand planning and forecasting to ensure business continuity and smooth product introduction in all regions of the world. This individual will be involved in the creation of adequate and innovative training tools and materials that will aim at disseminating the knowledge and obtaining field proficiency as well as business results. The Product Director will be a product expert of existing catheters of his/her portfolio and will maintain a high level of global competitive knowledge. This is needed to understand and anticipate customer needs as well as to align future roadmaps and developments. This individual will stay abreast of the current and future technologies in his/her specific area of expertise. He/she will attend congresses and symposia as needed, and will seek regular feedback through customer visits.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA, MCS or related masters degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience with prior experience in medical device marketing and/or field sales required. Electrophysiology and Atrial Fibrillation experience preferred. Clinical field experience preferred. Must possess the ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications. Must have strong presentation and customer relations skills. Ability to build respect and connections with field organization is essential. This position requires 30% domestically and internationally travel to attend conferences.
