Join our Power Generation Distribution Department as a Product Engineer – Electronics
You are given the great opportunity to join our expanding Team. We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional, to join our Power Generation and Distribution Group and take full responsibility for assigned products.
Duties:
- New Product introduction and implementation of production steps according to plan
- Complete understanding of component function and testing requirements
- Independently writes and performs component tests
- Implement tooling strategy and prepare production documentation, certifications, test reports, etc.
- Creates and maintains BOMs, releases drawings
- Documents/archives/retrieves drawings from storage system
- Support of electronic manufacturing processes
- Independently troubleshoots/analyzes component/system problems
- Performs work that involves conventional engineering practices
- Manage/coordinate all levels of derivatives including task definition and duration estimation
- Provides direct support of sales, manufacturing, purchasing and development
- Support of customers and operations in product related issues
- Participates in and promotes process improvements within assigned areas
- Possibly guide/direct a Technician or Junior Engineer
- May participate in international and multi-site projects
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automatics or related
- Minimum 2 years of related professional work experience
- Experience with product engineering and/or customer relations is an advantage
- Electronics industry knowledge
- Basic knowledge of main IEC, CE, UL standards
- Competent skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting
- Practical usage and understanding of design tools (layout, circuit analysis, dynamic simulation, etc.)
- Knowledge of Engineering quality systems (engineering change, configuration management)
- Practical, process-driven and result-oriented approach
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations
- Solid technical writing skills
- Good command of English verbal and written
- Solid teamwork and multitasking abilities
- Effective time management skills
- Proficient at Microsoft Office
