Product Group Manager
SUMMARY: Manage the aie Product Group, with sales of up to $3 million, including the development, implementation and execution of the Regional Strategy.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong technical background with good understanding of turbo machinery control applications and customers in the Oil and Gas and Power Generation market sectors.
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate and manage the sales, application engineering and project management of the product.
- Ability to build and maintain successful customer and inter-division relations.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- In close coordination with the ai Oil Gas Sales Manager, and the air Sales and Service Managers, establish and achieve product sales development objectives
- Provide market information and analysis for sales and technical developments for the aie product lines
- Investigate new applications for existing or new product development
- Continue to develop and build strong Sales, Project Management and After Sales Service in line with the ai group organizational structure
- Implement a pricing, distribution, and inventory planning policy
- Preparation and approval of annual business plan with corresponding forecasts for the inclusion into the Local and Regional Forecast Plan, in accordance with the targets established for the Company including sales growth, overhead, return on sales and capital employed
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
§ Bachelor’s Degree (BS - Engineering) from a four-year college or university preferred
§ Minimum five years’ related experience in the mechanical power transmission industry
§ Equivalent combination of education and experience as above
