Primary Responsibilities: The Product Manager is responsible for product planning, development, execution, and management for the product lifecycle including: identifying and developing new product concepts, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals, and working closely with all areas of the organization to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager is expected to define the product strategy and roadmap for each of the products in their area of responsibility in the product line, write and present business cases for new products or product changes, and manage the quality of assigned products including establishing competitive processing and customer services standards and ensure compliance with all related regulations and policies. Job Duties: - Maintain product PL responsibility, shared jointly with channel managers, with primary ownership of product pricing, features and benefits. - Supervise the development, execution budget, PL forecasts and evaluation of results related to efforts to expand the EFS market, achieve market share growth and maximize profitability. - Maintain current information and knowledge of the economic, industry, regulatory, and technology trends that affect the product line. - Conduct strategic data analysis aimed at gaining an in-depth knowledge of product and related portfolio performance - Develop and refine new product concepts based on research, customer feedback and industry information. - Develop and present business cases including the provision of project timelines, projected revenues and expenses and projected ROI. Propose alternative development scenarios as needed including a revaluation of time, expense and revenues and an outline of the advantages and disadvantages. - Ensure that all product concepts meet all regulatory and policy requirements. - Recommend pricing strategies, discount structures and guidelines for sales channels and target markets. - Prioritize development and promotional initiatives, developing and implementing go-to-market plans. - Identify, recommend and manage vendors directly associated with delivering the product strategy. - Produce a Product Plan on an annual basis, including performance results from the current year and strategy and tactics for the following year. - Manage the quality of the product delivery process including monitoring and improving operational performance and analyzing issues to ensure root causes are addressed. - Maintain a product scorecard that compares the original business case for the product to quarterly and yearly results. Track where each product is in the product life cycle (growth, maturity, decline, exit) and make recommendations related to life cycle stage and future potential.
