Product Manager
One of the largest, most successful retail banks in the UK has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join the wider Product Management team assuming specific accountability for managing the current accounts within the portfolio.
A key priority will be to deliver the targets for the business, including forecasting, regular monitoring of performance and analysis of the key underlying financial drivers. You will also manage the technical structure of the current accounts product set to ensure they work in line with customer expectations ensuring that all changes are effectively implemented. A key element of the role will be to drive ongoing new product development to improve the customer offering. Management of all third parties and key suppliers is also a key responsibility.
As the successful candidate you will be highly commercial in your approach with the ability to quickly understand the key financial drivers, including profit and loss, behind the role. You will be effective in planning and controlling a number of initiatives, prioritising them accordingly. In addition you will be comfortable taking decisions and using your judgement when necessary whilst clearly articulating the risks and benefits of key decisions. Experience of financial services and retail banking products will highly desirable.
