Product Manager Global Services Job in Amsterdam, Noord Holland Netherlands
The Product Manager oversees all aspects of the product and is responsible for ensuring that it supports the overall and company strategy and goals. As a Product Manager, you participate in product design, development, growth, analysis, conception of new ideas and features. You therefore play a key role in establishing the ultimate destination for consumers to find a reliable service provider for any job (across all services segments: Home, Professional, Personal, Cars).
You should be a flexible, results-oriented and experienced product leader, who feels comfortable with agile product development. You will be able to both strategize with the business- and management team on new product ideas and features and work across the team with other product managers, developers and designers to extend our existing products. You will be self-motivated and able to act with a high level of independence. You will be able to communicate as effectively in highly technical conversations with engineers as you do in discussions about user experience with the marketing- and UEX team. You will be responsible for helping to set and hit ambitious product goals for the global Classifieds markets.
- Identify market opportunities and define Services product vision and strategy
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Establish the product mission, goals and supporting business metrics and indicators for best in class Services products
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by knowledge of existing customers, potential-customers and competitors
- Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve
- Motivate the product development team and set the pace for fast, agile product development
- Define product features and deliver business and product requirements documents, feature prioritization and business justification
- Work with the larger cross-functional team to define the team's business strategy, product strategy, operation plan and detailed roadmap
- Communicate effectively and consistently with customers, partners, business and technical teams
