Description
The position manages the corporate-wide product profitability and risk, support Operating Plan and Marketing Strategy for assigned product. The position works with Operations and System Managers in the implementation of systems and processes in furtherance of operating plan goals. Position provides technical expertise to Sales during the Sales process (via direct customer contact), and also as a writer through development of brochures, user manuals, etc. Overall objective is to meet Operating Plan financials through furtherance of assigned product's profitability and market penetration goals via pricing, system/process development coordination, technical sales support, customer trend analysis, sales training, and risk management.
This position:
- Manages all product aspects of Treasury Services non-interest bearing balances, primarily through controlling the application of earnings credits to the respective client base
- Evaluates and recommends a position on overdraft interest (OI) rates; both standard practice and exception requests.
- Provides technical expertise to Treasury Services and/or clients, verbally and in writing through brochures, manuals, etc.
- Supports the DDA product group in managing the interest bearing account base, specifically evaluating exception requests and administering earnings credits
- Promptly generates reports/dashboards, as directed, to management and recommends enhancements to these processes as appropriate
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have a College degree (Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Finance, or Marketing). Three to six years experience in Cash Management or related field. Proficiency in financial analysis, including preparation of pro forma Account Analysis and Income Statements. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Computer skills along with experience in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and word are required.
