The successful candidate will be working closely with our Nordic clients in Oslo and provide input to and participate in various product-related projects across the Nordic region. The role will also be responsible for creating and driving strategic changes; responsible for the implementation of core infrastructure, design and build of new product capabilities, and facilitating activities across a matrix of business partners that support delivery.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain an interface to key stakeholders and other parts of the organisation
- Develop new propositions ( define functionality, features, service levels, positioning, client access. pricing, marketing, profitability)
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives to build delivery frameworks
- Responsibility for and continuous on-going analysis of the relevant financials
- Accountable to develop a relationship with local regulators and clearing agencies; coordinate work to create and file requests to all regulatory bodies in support of Oslo branch delivery
- Key interface and manager for program delivery between Oslo branch and UK based delivery teams
- Develop a Treasury Product strategy with the in country team that meets current and future client demand
- Participate in aspects of our international expansion program (branch build outs)
- Participate in other product development initiatives as required
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Norwegian and English (essential)
- Strong commercial international treasury management experience
- Keen leadership characteristics including initiative, follow-through and the ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills including good decision making and multi-tasking abilities
- Deep MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word skills

- Treasury Services Product experience in the Nordics (Transaction banking: payments, operating accounts, electronic banking, etc)
- Experience working with regulatory bodies in Norway (Clearing and Central Bank)
- Proven ability to lead a large, complex multimillion dollar development programme
- Proven ability to effect change
- Comfortable with matrixed reporting lines; strong analytical skills blended with an pragmatic approach
