Job Summary
Implement and drive business and product strategies. Develop and execute go-to-market product strategies; work with DMO, RD and Product Marketing to maximize long-term product profitability and achieve short-term revenue targets. Scope varies by specific role. Decision making ability for select product management components. Responsible for successful execution of product management deliverables.
- Ownership of the product cycle (through all N-gates after N7)
- Work directly with Product Marketing to make sure customer requirements are translated properly into product requirements.
- Responsible for Product Requirements Document creation
- Work/interact directly with all internal departments to execute the product cycle (RD, DMO, Quality, Finance)
- Develop technical product sales training
- Builds and maintains relationship with Product vendors
- Develops customer technical presentations / deep dives
- Responsible for Project prioritization and creation for the AOP
- Undergraduate / university degree in technical or software related field
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) desired
- 4+ years relevant product management or product marketing experience or significant product experience at NAVTEQ
- Prior experience in a technology-related industry preferred
- Ability to apply an innovative approach towards completion of deliverables within a product development framework
- Ability to influence others to successfully complete deliverables; manages by influence
- Ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner to internal and external audiences
- Adept at creating and developing relationships with key internal customers and partners

- Travel Percentage: 25%
