Our client, a recognised market leader in the Life Insurance / Financial Services field is looking for an experienced Retail Product Manager to join their dynamic product team, as they look to expand through positive market growth and continued success.
The role will be focused on issues such as:
- Supporting the Executive Manager on product management, projects and research, as well as day-to-day operational support.
- Management of the IFA channel
- Management of research house and market analysis relationships
- Scoping and developing products to continue market competitiveness and continued success.
- Produce business cases, collateral and other required documentation to support implementation of such opportunities and general promotion of the product
- Ensuring appropriate risk selection, underwriting, discounting and pricing procedures are followed
- Motivating team of people to achieve desired outcomes within product area and progress individuals successfully.
The role will require the successful candidate to benefit from:
- A Tertiary background with defined retail product management experience in the Financial Services Industry (minmum of 3 years in a Product Management capoacity)
- Technical / Organisational / Marketing / Negotiation skills combined with strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Project management skills with the ability to follow through and achieve required results in desired timeframes.
- Strong market knowledge of competitors products and understanding of key market trends, with ability to speak to key audiences with authority on industry
