Product Manager Mobile Job in Dublin, Dublin Ireland

Key responsibilities

§         Identify market and customer needs, trends, competitive landscape, and market forces so as to uncover opportunities for creating product enhancements as well as new products.

§         Ownership for the clarity of strategic direction of the product suite

§         Manage the product as it goes through its life cycle including tasks such as product positioning, pricing and promotion, product portfolio management, competitive strategy, making build/buy/partner decisions, and identifying and developing partnerships

§         Develop propositions which support the business strategy for retention, upgrade and new business acquisition

§         Determine and execute the pricing and distribution strategies, and inform the communications strategies

§         Communicate the product benefits, features and target markets, and in general championing the product to internal teams such as sales, marketing, support and executives as well as customers and press

§         Engage with customers to discuss requirements

§         Work closely with internal teams in the commercialisation of products and assist them to carry out the activities of outbound messaging including the creating of collateral such as datasheets, brochures, website, flash presentations, press packages, etc.

§         Ensure collaboration and close partnership with the RD teams to determine the best method of delivering the product roadmaps and identifying product market trends in the business

§         Build and maintain relationships with key influencing bodies and other strategic alliances to ensure the commercialisation of our products

§         Deliver and own business targets (revenue, new business, product mix etc.) across relevant products

§         Undertake competitor review and analysis to determine commercial positioning and potential customer acquisition targets

§         Represent the company at external events such as seminars, product user groups, other events as appropriate

§         Work on ad-hoc commercial projects that involve a product focus.
