Product Manager - Product Line Manager - Consumer Electronics, IP Cameras
Located in the Los Angeles area, we are a leading manufacturer of high-performance IP cameras and software. We are privately held and profitable! Due to our growth, we are looking to hire a sharp Product Manager with solid product development experience to join our team.
What will you be doing?
- Product management and product marketing, including managing the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products
- Deliver Marketing Requirements Documents and Product Requirement Documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Manage cross functional product team to productize new products in development
- Develop product launch plan and related product launch packages
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and development opportunities
- Manage third party development partner relationships and act as the liaison for marketing and engineering
- Develop the core positioning, pricing and messaging for the product (e.g. assist in advertising, marketing collateral and public relations as it relates to the product)
- Act as a product champion internal and external to the company
What do you need to qualify?
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a product manager or product marketing manager within the IT, Security or Consumer Electronics industry
- Camera engineering or imaging experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated success defining and launching technology products
- Strong inception and product development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a plus
