Product Manager - SharePoint and Enterprise Search
The Collaboration technologies team is looking to hire an experienced IT Product Manager to drive the strategy and future product roadmap for internal client base of 50,000 plus users that aligns our enterprise search and web collaboration capabilities to meet the growing demands of our internal business customers
As a SharePoint and Enterprise Search Product Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
− Expertise in the development of practical IT solutions to meet business requirements and use cases
− Strong financial acumen with proven ability to develop ideas and opportunities and convert them to commercial solutions
− Proven ability to work and thrive in global, diverse organizations including the management of technology suppliers and partners
− Passion to partner with diverse work-groups to ensure business aspirations are well understood by technical specialists and delivered to plan.
− Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, marketing, business management or related discipline
− Clearly demonstrate product management experience with Microsoft SharePoint and FAST search
− Ability to structure clear and concise presentation material adapting to the intended audience
As SharePoint and Enterprise Search Product Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
− Develop and maintain a multi-year investment plan in support of the product, IT and business strategy.
− Collect, report and monitor product metrics, KPI's, deployment and adoption metrics to ensure capacity, uptake and license management.
− Partner with vendors to ensure alignment and future state
− Understand and manage the inventory, cost drivers and charge back model, communicating these effectively to business partners
− Managing the relationship with internal customers ensuring the product meets their current and future needs.
− Assist in the requirements gathering, specification and governance definitions
− Ensure alignment with IT Risk, Legal Compliance and other regulatory groups to ensure platform compliance.
− Understand how our products function as part of the broader internal landscape and how they add value to our customers.
− Obtain endorsement and approval for existing work programs and future enhancements
