PRODUCT MARKETING CONSULTANT (3-6 MONTHS)

This position will be responsible for establishing a cohesive product marketing infrastructure at iRise. This person will be responsible for developing and delivering external product-related communications and internal product-related sales enablement for our leading edge enterprise software visualizaton product suite. This person will work closely with most departments to achieve a fully integrated product position and consistent set of messages for both external and internal audiences.

Duties Include but not limited to the following:

• In collaboration with Production Definition and Engineering, create the Product Marketing plan and communications deliverables (both internal and external).

• Work with Product Definition team to develop and deliver the public-facing product road map.

•Lead the product messaging strategy and collaborate with the Field Marketing Lead on the key messaging for events, webinars, SAP sales enablement, and demand gen programs.

Support Sales and Marketing with content deliverables for events, webinars, and demand gen programs.

• Create product-related content for all external uses including: website, collateral, sales presentations, sales training materials, Q+A documents, pricing guides, sales proposal templates, white papers, etc.

• Manage the process of both strategic and tactical product pricing, including: organizing pricing strategy  meetings, pricing proposal review meetings, updating the pricing guide, etc.

• Act as the focal point for both strategic and tactical competitive information, including side-by-side product comparisons, delivering timely competitive briefs to sales, etc.

• Manage communications with the iRise user community, including, but not limited to; blogging on the iRise site, monitoring other blog sites and responding (as appropriate) with the official iRise response.

• Supply product definition with information gained from field and customer communications.

• Create a high-level analyst strategy.

 

Qualifications:  

• 5-10 years experience in product marketing, product management and analyst relations in the enterprise software or SaaS software space; pre-IPO experience a plus.

• 3+ successful Product Marketing Consulting engagements

• Previous experience with product pricing strategies and execution

• Previous experience with managing product launches.

• Strong understanding of product positioning principles and methodology

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills in a team-oriented environment.
