Product Project Manager recruitment
A newly created role as Product Project Manager is available at a major international asset management company who are a specialist provider of active investment products to both institutional and retail investors offering equities, fixed income and currency, commodities, frontier markets and multi-asset investing. The Product Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation and ultimate delivery of new product launches and any changes to existing products. The successful applicant will be required to ensure effective delivery of the project and will also own the project process. This function has been taken into the team from a central project office to improve the process, this is a role you could make your own.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Product Projects
* Provide guidance to Project Customers on the completion of project initiation documentation
* Upon approval register the project and establish the project team
* Ensure that the project budget/time lines/milestones/resourcing and scope are managed
* Keep project documentation up to date throughout the life of the project
* Identify project issues risks and manage mitigation of same
* Ensure that change requests raised as part of a project are done so in a timely manner and in accordance with external SLA's as applicable
* Communicate efficiently and effectively
* All of the above may involve coordination of external (vendors) project team members
* Ownership of the project process
Technical knowledge and experience:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
* Significant Asset Management experience within product management or project management specialising in product management
* Understand Project Management Office documentation and processes
* Experience of dealing with senior management stakeholder groups
