Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Plan Manager for a leading provider of contract sterilization services with 18 facilities located throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Utilizing gamma and ethylene oxide (EO) sterilization, the company has been meeting the sterilization needs of the medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology community for over 35 year and is a business segment of a worldwide leader in infection prevention, decontamination and health science technologies, products and services. The Production Manager is responsible for managing a facility production operation, $10 million revenue and $ 7 million budget. Staff includes up to 10 direct (e.g. Production, Warehouse, Production Planning) and 70 indirect (e.g. Production, Warehouse, Production Planning). Sets and nurtures an ISO 9001 culture in understanding, communicating and meeting customer processing requirements, operating in a multi-shift and 24/7 on-call environment. Includes adherence to quality assurance and GMP procedures. Responsible for managing, training, scheduling, disciplining and developing production staff in order to meet and satisfy production requirements and ensuring compliance with internal and customers regulatory procedures and protocols.

Background Preferred (but not required):
Line management in sterilization operation
Utilization of lean manufacturing concepts (i.e.Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma)
Demonstrable mechanical electrical application aptitude
Advanced degree
