Production manager

The aim of Our client is to achieve sustained, profitable growth by providing customers with translation, localisation and other language services which consistently satisfy or exceed customers’ agreed requirements.

To manage the Production team comprising Project Managers and Language Quality Leads.
To manage multiple language translation and related services projects, deciding on the required process, ensuring delivery to clients requirements, within schedule, to budget and in line with agreed processes.

Senior Management.
Position is based in Dublin, Ireland. This role is not a remote working role.

 Manage and monitor the work of the members of the Production Team to ensure projects are delivered to client requirements, within budget and to schedule.
 Manage and monitor the work of the members of the Production Team to ensure team compliance to ISO procedures and each person’s roles and responsibilities.
 Manage and monitor the work of the members of the Production Team to ensure compliance to internal project requirements.
 Manage the members of the Production Team to ensure management’s required actions are completed successfully.
 Responsible for organising staff to ensure to ensure cover is in place at all times and workloads are in line with agreed working practices.
 Responsible for monitoring and reporting to management on Production Team key performance indicators including project KPIs.
 Responsible for organising project processes to ensure that deliverables meet all customer requirements and internal project requirements (budget, schedule etc).
 Responsible for ensuring all members of the Production Team are trained adequately on internal procedures.
 Ensures linguistic assets, including terminology resources and other sources of information defining customer profile and non-project-specific requirements, are kept up to date.

 Ability to do the role of a Project Manager if required (for cover and as required)

 Contributes to determination of project requirements when requested by Sales through project evaluation.

 Develop and improve efficiencies and processes on each client to increase project and client margins.

 Comply with, maintain and update company procedures as necessary.

 Third level degree, preferably in Software Localisation, Translation, Business or related discipline.

 5 years or more relevant PM experience in a translation / localisation or similar environment.

 2 years Team Management experience in a translation / localisation or similar environment.

Remuneration package will depend on the suitability of the candidate for the role, based on the above criteria and interview assessment.
