Job Description: Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to lead the Combined Arms Collective Training Facility (CACTF) located at Oro Grande, NM. This leadership position requires independent judgment, managerial, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills to manage CACTF operations, customer's expectation and satisfaction, and CACTF personnel. Develop and maintain customer relations; implement processes and assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance customer support and satisfaction. Maintain communications with customers, local operational leadership, and Warrior Training Alliance management to ensure that service is delivered on time and to customer expectations. Administrative responsibilities includes: recommend and or initiate the selection and hiring of employees, develop and submit periodic report, set goals for the CACTF team, conduct employee evaluations, and provide feedback for employees. Responsibilities include the following : Oversees multiple employees as part of a dynamic team operating within a fast paced environment. Works with customers to develop, implement, and execute training scenarios. Implements processes and assists in process improvement initiatives in order to enhance customer support. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate policies and procedures. Maintain communications with customers, local operational leadership, and Warrior Training Alliance management to ensure that support is delivered on time and to established standard. Leverage operational, technical, and interpersonal skills to manage CACTF operations, customer relations, and CACTF personnel. Recommends and or initiates the selection and hiring of employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Coordinates with local leadership and Warrior Training Alliance management to leverage resources and mission requirements to best support the customer. Provide employee training, certification and maintain records to ensure employee competencies. Required Skills: 3-5 years military service or related experience with infantry/mechenized units in leadership positions. 3-5 years experience in range operations with supervisory responsibilities. Experience working with the technology industry. Ability to manage time and resources to meet customer and support requirements. Ability to manage a dynamic team during periods of fast-paced mission changes and extended hours of operations. Must have good organizational, analytical, and strong oral and written communitation skills. Perform physical security of all hand-receipted equipment and maintain access control. Supervise and direct data input into Maximo and Atlas (Raytheon's automated information systems). Supervise the Life-Cycle Management of MOUT Instrumentation systems and sub-systems assemblies. Screen, interview and recommend personnel to fill manpower shortages. Must have good human relations skills to select, develop, and mentor employees. Provide guidance and solutions for employee on company related issues. Perform other tasks assigned by the Raytheon-Warrior Training Alliance management team in a manner that enhances customer satisfaction. Ability to interact with senior level military, civilian customer, and Warrior Training Alliance personnel. May be required to travel in support of Warrior Training Alliance mission requirements at other CONUS and OCONUS locations. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate. Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind) and at height (towers and phone poles). Must be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post-driving privileges. Willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Will be required to work in compliance with OSHA and Raytheon safety policies and procedures.as appropriate. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Required Education (including Major): BA/BS Degree in related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of education. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance .
