Pridgeon Clay, Inc. is in search of a Production Scheduler/Planner for it's Franklin, Indiana facility. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, previous experience with scheduling production or material planning in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of a MRP system, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, the ability to work well with people, drive projects to completion, and multi-task, a high degree of self-motivation, and an excellent work record. Acitivities for this position include: Using the electronic kanban system to examine requirements, scheduling work for the department, maintaining QAD line schedules, and monitoring production for the Business Unit to achieve 100% customer order fill and finished goods inventory targets; Coordinating and tracking material to schedule changes, shortages, and potential use of alternative and/or obsolete material, establishing action plans as required; Participating in advanced level product quality planning (APQP) process to support sample production part approval process (PPAP) dates, etc.
