Production Supervisor

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor specializing in Point of Sale displays and print production. The ideal candidate will have development and procurement experience in Permanent (wire, wood, plastic) and Temporary (corrugate) display work and print production. This position is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The Production Supervisor will work directly with Production Manager and key function contacts to manage Permanent and Temporary Displays for major client brands. Fast paced, challenging work environment with room to grow.

Primary responsibilities and duties include:

*Interface with Account Management staff, Creative Agencies and client contacts to understand client need and develop creative brief and job specifications for new explorations and custom items

*Review each job and select the appropriate vendor(s) to deliver design and/or print solutions that meet client criteria, expectations and budget

*Present production ideas, recommendations and innovations that align with display purpose, customer interaction, end usage and budget

*Develop prototypes for client review; make recommendations to improve impact of design in store

*Provide production recommendations that improve quality, reduce costs and/or add value

Production Management

*Ensure processes and procedures are followed

*Compile RFQs and solicit pricing from vendor pool

*Prepare estimates and timelines for client approval

*Execute against production timelines and schedules to meet client delivery requirements

*Ensure budgets are set and maintained

*Issue Purchase Orders and process Job Reconciliation for final invoicing to client

Job Experience:
*6 - 8 years production experience in Point of Sale production - Permanent and Temporary Display and Print production

*Strong problem solver, solution oriented

*Ability to handle a variety of tasks independently and efficiently

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Working knowledge of Excel and Power Point

*Poised, calm working style - works well under pressure

*Team player
