Production Supervisor - Lakewood, NJ
Supervise union personnel in the filling and packaging of aseptic products in compliance with FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines. This includes but is not limited to: preparing staffing and operation of production lines, interaction with customers, data collection and interpretation, technical report writing, change control, and safety.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the proper operation of all aseptic production activities assigned, such as, scheduling, training, coaching and counseling in a union environment.
2. Works to achieve the highest level of continual quality and productivity improvements across all aspects of production
3. Assures that all SOPs and cGMPs are being followed.
4. Maintains appropriate communication with personnel under his/her supervision, as well as peers.
5. Maintains adherence to internal/external specifications and validated parameters.
6. Encourage employee participation and teambuilding.
7. Serves as an integral member of a product management/launch team involving both the customer and internal personnel.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent, or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in aseptic/sterile manufacturing is required.
- Experience working in a Union Environment.
