Position Overview
Nanosphere is committed to recruiting an outstanding Production Technician during a critical period of the Company’s growth and evolution. The Production Technician will report directly to the Company’s Manager of Disposables Assembly, and will serve as a key member of the production team.
The Production Technician is responsible for a wide spectrum of manufacturing functions for the company. A key success factor for this position is the ability to be a self starter, highly organized, hands-on across a wide area of responsibilities and detail oriented. The Production Technician is expected to take ownership of recurring routine manufacturing steps, drive process improvements within the manufacturing and production areas and actively participate in improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
Execute routine manufacturing steps:
- Set up and control precision equipment to include: fluidic dispensing/labeling/packaging/heat-sealing equipment
- Logging accurate batch documentation in QSR/GMP environment
- Clean and maintain equipment per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Assist with process documentation/specifications.
- Assist with inventory control
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in working with FDA/GMP/ISO level documentation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree preferred with technical background
- Great attention to detail and commitment to excellence in review and work product.
- Highly motivated and energetic team player – enjoys working hard in a dynamic team environment.
- Motivated to expand responsibilities and experiences.
- Manufacturing experience highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to execute standard operating procedures reliably and with consistent outcomes
Local candidates preferred, no relocation assistance available. Must be able to work in the U.S. on an unrestricted basis.
