Production Trainer Job Description: Our client, the third largest automotive manufacturer in the world with new operations starting in Chattanooga, has several openings for instructors to deliver training in the fields of assembly, body work, and painting. This training will take place in a brand new, world class training facility. These contract positions will require the ability to work normal day and evening shift hours. Qualified applicants will have the following: High School Diploma Required - Advanced degree highly preferred. Previous work experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor in a Lean Manufacturing environment Background in quality Basic knowledge and understanding of Lean, 5S and JIT standards and requirements. Prior training/instruction experience. A strong desire and ability to work with people in a very hands on training environment. Technical as well as strong teaching ability required.
