As part of its international development programme and in order to strengthen both its executive education and research potential, the EDHEC group, one of Europe’s leading research and teaching institutions, is recruiting a professor of finance with research experience within the financial industry for EDHEC-Risk Institute in London, United Kingdom.
Professor of Finance with Outstanding Professional Achievements — one vacancy in London, United Kingdom
The successful candidate will have significant skills in quantitative finance and modelling and excellent conceptual knowledge of finance theory. Research experience within the financial industry is required. A typical profile would be a head of research at an investment bank or other financial institution. A doctoral qualification in mathematics/physics, economics, or quantitative finance would typically be required and the candidate should have a track record of publication in top practitioner journals. Research service will be carried out within EDHEC-Risk Institute, a leading international research centre for industry-relevant academic research. The successful candidate will conduct high-level executive seminars on state-of-the-art academic research in finance. He/she will represent the research centre at both seminars and conferences, so excellent presentation skills are required.
