Program Development Manager will be responsible for helping assess programs and projects and then ensuring the successful launch and ongoing execution of these programs that are critical to the profitable growth of the Oil Gas segment. The development and successful execution of new programs will be critical to continued growth in revenue and profits.
Key responsibilities for the position include:
- Work with marketing, especially the business development function, to qualify and determine steps to launch new programs for Oil Gas and TBS.
- Work with sales marketing to define programs by product, delivery, and other requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and success for Timken.
- Work with management and quality to identify and qualify outside vendors critical to the success of programs.
- Place and track P.O.'s to outside vendors to ensure vendor accountability, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and Manage 3rd Party vendors to ensure key performance indicators are being achieved so that financial objectives set during the business plan are met.
- In addition, when required, this person will be responsible for collaborating with the vendor on process improvement ideas and critical customer requirements dictated by the project to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor and Manage performance of programs and identify needs and execute plans to increase revenue/EBIT for Oil Gas / TBS.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management.
Preferred:
- MASTER in MBA
- Previous Job Experience in Marketing, Supply Chain Work with specific knowledge of Supply Chain Mgmt / Purchasing and 10-15 years of experience.
- Proven ability to lead - Will be required to take leadership role without direct reports.
- Project Management Supply Chain Management Knowledge of API and ASTM material specifications.
- Business Analysis Organization and tracking of multiple tasks and projects.
