Key Roles Responsibilities

Business aligned LTD strategy:

-Assess the learning and development needs of distribution channel teams in line with its strategic business objectives
-Develop the Learning (and Certification) Agenda and obtain sponsorship to fund all development and implementation costs
-Drive the Learning (and Certification) Agenda
-Establish collaborative relationships with business sponsors, subject matter experts, regional / country LTD / CB Academies and external professional bodies in implementing the agenda
-Effective stakeholder management with all business stakeholders and country stakeholders (of different levels)

Programmatic (workforce) and Thematic (talent pools) Approach:

-Work with the Business OEs Talent Development to map and define an integrated LTD process with focus on role profiles, development solutions, learning roadmaps certification (including IG/BA programs)
-Define the overall curricula ensuring validity and currency of its content vis-à-vis business needs and industry standards
-Responsible for the design, development and implementation of programs / curricula by working with internal and external learning consultants and in coordination with relevant stakeholders and usage of the CADDIE process
-Project manage implementation of programs, which includes:
*Clarifying objectives and deliverables and where necessary, raising RFPs
*Negotiating vendor terms
*Identifying and managing project teams
*Overlooking implementation strategies
*Evaluating program effectiveness impact on business performance
-Develop strategies to ensure maximum exposure and take up rate of program offerings to the relevant constituents at the optimal time e.g. creation and maintenance of role-specific roadmaps, etc
-Ensure the efficient and effective rollout of global-global and global-local programs by leveraging the Country LTD structure
-Monitor the delivery of programs / technical training in accordance with these LTD principles / standards
-Leverage and maintain L@SCB and LCMS as implementation and communications tools

Measurement:

-Manage the planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to deliver the business learning (and certification) agenda, including talent development
-Level 1 and 2 evaluations mandatory for all certification programs while Level 3 4 are desirable
-Accountable for the outcome of Learning programs and initiatives including their impact on the agreed business outcomes

Team Leadership:

-Management of global trainers / line trainers / CB Academy trainers where used, including adherence to program and / or global facilitation standards

Qualifications Skills

*Learning consulting and business engagement skills to identify and analyse requirements
*Outstanding communication skills and influencing capability to ensure stakeholders at different levels understand recommended approaches, challenges and issues
*A team player with sensitivity to team dynamics
*Experience working and managing issues across a matrixed organisation
*Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise according to dynamic business environment and changing business requirements
*Understanding of and ability to operate within different cultures and nationalities
*Organisation / Administration and project management skills
*Advanced facilitation skills to deliver at Train-the-Trainer program level
*Significant experience working in a dynamic (preferably Consumer Banking) environment
*Instructional design background is highly desirable
