The Program Manager will be responsible for managing large, matrixed, complex projects across the organization.
- Leads people who manage projects involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of internal products or administrative systems.
- Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets.
- Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel.
- Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
- Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
- Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
- Manages multiple projects, within given constraints of time, budget and quality.
- Ensures the scope, schedule, and costs are reasonable and achievable.
- Allocates work among project management team. - Conducts periodic reviews to ensure each project or module is on track, and conducts post-project reviews.
- Interacts with business owners to ensure their needs are being met.
- Brings together different functional perspectives both within and outside the project teams.
- Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
- Oversees projects through implementation and ensures sustainability.

- Acts as an advisor to subordinate leaders or staff members.

- Assumes responsibility for sales objectives.
- Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience.
- Prove track record of managing people directly and influencing cross-functional teams in a heavily matrixed environment
- 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 6+ years managerial/leadership experience.
- Understanding of enterprise software product development and delivery
- Understanding of Informatics and Business Intelligence Analycs
- Healthcare industry is required
