Posted Position Title: Program Manager-HC Career Level: Experienced Function Information Technology Function Segment: Business Solutions Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Wisconsin City: Wauwatosa Postal Code: 53226-4856 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: " Serves as the Manager and Solution Delivery Expert for definition, design, and implementation of framework to support the USCAN Business Analytics IT organization. Partners with Services, Finance and Commercial functions to strategize analytical requirements wing to wing. Essential Responsibilities Understands current systems and reporting landscape, analyzes gaps, drives simplification and future roadmap including tool selection, information delivery, and data management governance for competitive advantage. Builds and manages a team of Business Analytics professionals to execute programs and deliver information in a timely and meaningful fashion. " Develop and deliver USCAN Business Analytics IT Strategy including information delivery, reporting, alerts, predictive metrics, decision support, statistical analysis, forecasting and optimization. " Partners with COEs, IT Organizations and Functions across GE to formulate cohesive strategy. Benchmarks industry best practices and trends and seeks to institutionalize those into USCAN Business Analytics framework. " Builds a 3-5 year strategy based on forecasted business needs and Business Analytics trends. Builds a team of high performance professionals around this vision. " Owns a team of GE, non-GE, and program resources responsible for executing on programs and strategy " Researches and champions Big Data initiatives " Visibility with upper level management and executives to continually refine business analytical needs " Drives simplification and elimination of redundant reporting solutions. Focuses on the right solutions. " Selects tools and drives technology roadmap for USCAN organization in partnership with COEs " Builds business cases focused on ROI and business competitive analysis " Develops development and maintenance strategies and environments to streamline development opportunities " Champions Agile methodology to drive fast and efficient solution delivery, in line with rapidly changing business needs " Ultimately accountable for program delivery, budget, timelines and quality " Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position " Complete all planned Quality Compliance training within the defined deadlines " Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required " Responsible for data integrity of the system inventory, as applicable " Responsible for the validation of all GxP relevant BI applications and maintaining the validated state of those applications " Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction " Develop an open quality culture within the organization that fosters issue discussion and decision-making based on quality and compliance objectives Qualifications/Requirements: " Minimum of 8 years experience leading Business Analytics efforts for large, highly matrixed, enterprise BI environments. " Experience working with OBIEE, Cognos, Hyperion. " Strong understanding of the use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision making " This position is only open to applicants currently within ITPE. " Experience with process quality methodology " Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication " Project management experience in global environments " Coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority " Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements " Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization " Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization " Strong leadership skills " Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver " BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent " Minimum eight years IT experience with 4 years in project/program management or equivalent " Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions " Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
