Program Manager recruitment
My client is one of the largest, dedicated asset management companies in the world. In the UK they offer investors access to a variety of investment opportunities in both equity and fixed income. A program of change has created a permanent opportunity for an experienced program manager to join the business, based in Edinburgh.
Initially you will oversee the roll out of a major program with a global remit. This program is underway and close to completion, and you will successfully manage it to this point. You will then move into a strategic role on the leadership team, heading up a program to develop and expand the capabilities of the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to create a technology road map, which will be done through the leveraging of your strong relationships created within Technology. You will have full contract management responsibility, and assist in product development in an increasingly regulatory-focused and technically challenging environment.
You will have significant and demonstrable experience of leading programs of change within the financial services industry (investment experience preferred but not exclusively). You will have achieved this through applying practically your experience gained in certification in industry standard methodologies (PMP, PMI, Lean Six Sigma, Juran, Kaisen etc). You will comfortable managing, mentoring and developing senior managers. You will be a natural leader used to influencing at executive level, and be able to quickly gain the trust of senior stakeholders.
