Program Manager/Black Belt
Tyco Flow Control (TFC) is the largest manufacturer of valves, actuators and associated flow control products in the world, serving the oil and gas, chemical, power generation, petrochemical, waterworks, and pulp and paper industries, as well as the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and specialty markets. TFC generates nearly $4BB dollars in revenue and employs 15,000 associates in over 80 locations around the globe. TFC Americas has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Excellence Program Manager in our Americas Region (Stafford, TX).
Responsibilities:
- Lead / execute / track and report high impact projects using LSS methodology and Staged gated process demonstrating measurable impacts.
- Responsible for project progress, reporting and oversight for their projects.
- Responsible to develop cross functional teams and drive culture change.
- Requires approximately 20% travel for projects and mentoring assignments.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in a technical discipline required - preferably in Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- BB training from a 4 week equivalent BB program; certification a plus.
- Ability to close projects in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated project management skills, PMP Certification a plus.
- Ability to influence others and build teams.
- Superior oral and written communication.
- Excellent computer skills; Minitab a plus.
