GENERAL SUMMARY:

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Program Manager to join the VPLEX Business Unit within the Enterprise Storage Division. VPLEX is a radical new technology eliminating the constraints of distance from the data center environment, allowing organizations to non-disruptively move thousands of virtual machines and petabytes of information over thousands of miles. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter with a proven track record, preferably with both a technical and business background. The candidate will lead and manage multiple complex projects and/or programs impacting business goals and objectives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, defines and leads execution of one or more programs. Establishes and manages project/program goals and objectives. Facilitates partner alignment and maintain partner relationships. Drives business and program readiness and directs work of team members. May oversee multiple teams. Influences and manages continuous improvement of project/program process, practices and initiatives. Communicates program status, program readiness, and business issues and risks across the organization and to management. Creates and prepares documentation, reporting and metrics. Resolves complex problems, anticipates change and redirects efforts as necessary. Identifies areas of risk/opportunities and influences and implements continuous improvements. Ensures project and/or program deliverables are met on time and within budget as required. Interface with functional organizations and business units as a source of advice and counsel in program issues and provide support to achieve goals and objectives. Perform other duties as required or directed.
