Program Officer Job in Adelaide, South Australia Australia
Health Workforce Australia (HWA) is seeking Program Officers (more than one position) to undertake project and policy duties to support the achievement of outcomes in Clinical Training Reform.
The positions are located in various teams within the Clinical Training Reform workgroup, and whilst the duties are common across these areas the focus of work may include:
· Administration relating to the role of the Account Management Unit, including management of clinical training funding for professional entry students across a range of health professions and other funding agreements;
· Administration relating to the role of the Grants Management Unit, including establishing, monitoring and evaluating program governance arrangements and reporting to ensure HWA’s compliance with its contractual and legislative obligations for grant funding; and
· Program management including implementation across a number of programs including Clinical Supervision Support, Simulated Learning Environments and Integrated Regional Clinical Training Networks.
The successful candidate(s) will have experience across a range of areas including:
· Administering funding agreements and associated management;
· Project management, preferably in a related area;
· Policy analysis; or
· Administering program governance support functions.
The successful candidate(s) will also have experience in working with different levels of governments and across the health or education sectors and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with government and non-government stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
HWA is based in Adelaide and operates on a national basis.
