PROGRAM / PROJECT MANAGER
The first project is a broadly based program covering the life cycle of cash within the organization. The Cash Management program has multiple project work streams which will involve process re-engineering as well as IT associated initiatives related to vendor technology solutions and SWIFT connectivity. The project work streams are multi-disciplinary and multi-functional including but not limited to Treasury, Operations, and Accounting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the program in its entirety including the various project work streams through the cycles of definition, planning, execution, change management, and monitoring.
- Projects may include operational and accounting process reengineering for investments, derivatives, and debt.
- Effectively manage the various interfaces with steering committees, sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams, as well as manage a project plan, resolve project risks, and track and report project status and financials.
- The successful candidate will, at the completion of the described treasury projects, desire and be able to transition to managing other projects or assume an operational or managerial role within the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus
- Minimum 7 plus years of related project management and Treasury Operations experience
- Financial services and Treasury highly desired
- Understands aspects of Cash management including positioning, bank management, fee management, cash forecasting, liquidity planning, investments
- Significant experience in implementing treasury management systems (TMS)
- Comfortable with debt and derivative management
- Able to understand and implement complex accounting rules around debt and derivatives
- Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead change
- Collaborative style, team focused
- Excellent communication facilitation skills
- Black Belt Certification preferred
