Programme Director

Our client is a leading Banking institution that has undergone a huge change over the past 5 years.

The CIO of the Bank now seeks a seasoned Programme Director to take a lead role providing delivery, oversight and assurance of 3 large programmes of work with a budget of £40m.

The programme and project portfolio consists of multiple themes across Front/Middle and back office IT projects and related Business Change initiatives.

The ideal Programme Director will have operated as either Programme Director, Senior Programme Manager or Portfolio Manager for a Retail or Investment Banking institution and posses solid domain knowledge in these areas.

Therefore the Programme Director will ideally have a wealth of knowledge around the Trading Commercial Banking arena ( i.eFX, Credit, Rates and Fixed Income) and be accustomed to dealing directly with CIO/COO/Director level stakeholders across Business and Technology organisations within that environment.

Candidates for this role will need to demonstrate their experience and knowledge gained managing Programmes and initiatives equal too/or exceeding the above mentioned scale. (3 programmes / 40 Projects/ 40M budget)

• Experienced Programme Director/Snr Programme Manager
• Experienced or certified Prince 2 , CMMI, MSP, PMP Governance expert
• Significant knowledge and product knowledge within Trading / Commercial / Wholesale
Banking.
• Experience of managing Snr Stakeholders
• Experience Managing Large Scale Initiatives that have included multiple Programmes and
circa 40 projects with budgetsmanagement of +£40m
• FX, Credit , Rates, Fixed income
• IT programme and project management
• Investment Banking
• Retail Banking
