Programme Manager – Records Management IT recruitment
Records Management IT (RM IT) develops and maintains scanning, archiving and document processing applications for all UBS divisions globally. Among other large change the bank programs; RM IT is executing a transformational program that will consolidate several eCommunication archives under one solution for the entire bank.
As the successful candidate, you, the Records Management IT Programme Manager, will lead and manage the overall delivery of the program which includes product build, customization and rollout to all the regions (North America, EMEA, Switzerland, and APAC).
Responsibilities include:
- Managing overall plan, quality, delivery and costs of the programme
- Managing a team of experienced Project Managers, either directly or dotted line reports
- Communicating status to the business sponsor of the program
- Creating and managing detailed project plans, tracking to milestones, resolving issues and escalating as required
- Driving projects to successful completion on time and on budget
- Being responsible for all levels of project status
As the successful candidate with experience of leading complex, business change initiatives, you are a programme manager who will:
- Meet with business leaders to formulate a deep understanding of how the programme can support the business drivers and where current constraints lie
- Create an overall implementation roadmap
- Plan, mobilize and execute the implementation roadmap
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in Business and IT
- Drive through issues, break-down barriers, build teams to deliver excellence in Programme Execution
- Challenge the status quo, and be able to make difficult decisions
Key requirements for the role include:
- Proven IT Programmes / Project Management experience in a financial services organization
- Strong experience managing large scale IT Change Programmes
- Experience managing complex projects and programmes
- Project experience in legal archive solutions
- Professional skill in Program/Project management:
- Planning and organizing

- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
