Programme Manager recruitment
With a return to favourable conditions within global markets, European Crisis withstanding, and a renewed appetite for deals and M and A activity, our client a leading global financial institution is keen to secure the services of a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to lead the growth of a new team within their Global Operations division.
An ability to showcase your skill set across the below will be Vital:
- Create the governance model required to manage, oversee and coordinate large /cross-functional /outsourcing deals, from a deal and implementation perspective; overseeing all functional areas involved in the deal and the implementation process.
- Act as primary interface with the client (from contract negotiations and initial closing, through implementation, delivery and ongoing change control).
- Own and manage the individual and combined implementation plans, providing issue tracking, resolution and escalation of critical issues and risks to plan.
- Create metrics, reporting and status reports to report progress against project objectives and milestones. Understand dependencies and pre-empt and address conflicts and constraints before they impact the critical path.
- Responsible for project communication, presenting updates to the Steering Committee with all cross-functional teams.
- Establish and manage the change management and control process to track all changes in project scope during the implementation as well as any additional /ongoing requirements post-implementation.
- Carry out post-implementation reviews and incorporate the lessons learned into the Project management and Governance model.
- Development of a strong understanding of the Securities and Fund Services products, capabilities and services.
- Development of internal relationships at senior levels across all disciplines and functions, including GTS regional and global management.
- Direct and intensive interaction with clients.
- Development of leading programme management, analysis, communication and client management skills.
The outstanding candidate should have at least 12 Years Financial Services experience ideally from a Funds perspective and with a strong Project Management, Client On-Boarding and Programme Management flavour to that experience. You will be tertiary qualified with ideally and Post Graduate qualification and a Project Management certification.
