Programme Office Manager ‘PMO’ – FATCA recruitment

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the administration of the FATCA programme

• Ensure a consistent approach to FATCA across all parts of the bank and manage the timeline to reduce the risk of compliance being achieved late

• Act as the programme’s Finance Officer, liaise with Group Finance and manage costs, project approval requests and business cases

• Provide support on planning and monitoring progress, risks, dependencies and issues

• Regularly liaise with PMOs and programme teams in Consumer and Wholesale Banking to align plans and approaches and encourage visibility of risks and issues

• Contribute to the development of key strategies for the programme to address key areas of risk such as country engagement, country specific legal issues etc.

• Ensure comprehensive records are maintained so that other specialists can document the bank’s interpretation of the FATCA regulations

Experience, Qualifications Skills

• Ideally, although not essential, have some experience of FATCA work

• An awareness of financial control methods

• Preferably some awareness of regulatory, legal and compliance matters

• The flexibility and responsiveness to handle an evolving scope of work and priorities

• A disciplined and well-organised approach

• Good numeracy and communication skills

• A willingness to occasionally travel to Asia
