Monitors, maintains and reports on material and other related material issues for Transmission projects in the Transmission Project Management Organization. Responsible for obtaining, providing and implementing information and recommendations to meet project goals and positively influence project direction. Performs material forecasting, monitoring and control activities including the preparation of material performance and productivity reports, analysis of supporting data, variance reporting and special studies. Work with project material to monitor and communicate status, variances, trends and expediting costs for projects and individual contractors. Reports corrective action if necessary. Assist in the review of bid specifications, change orders, invoices and performance for vendors, contractors and material contracts. Large project experience a plus. Competency in accounting methods and budgeting process and systems (MIMS) MS Office proficiency especially Excel. Familiarity with the " Project Management Institute's Body of Knowledge" is desirable. Candidate is familiar with the practice of using utility material practices and forecasts. Construction experience a REQUIREMENT with 7 years of experience.
