Project Coordinator- Top Secret Clearance
The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and functional support for program operations. These tasks include but are not limited to interacting with HM personnel, clients and subcontractors for the collection of all project deliverables. In addition the Project Coordinator requires strong computer skills especially with MS Office Excel and AutoCAD. The Project Coordinator will also maintain a project database that contains all deliverables tracking information and will also schedule and track jobs. The Project Coordinator with facilitate the process for safety talks, payroll, and daily work reports. The job functions performed by a Project Coordinator are subject to change based on Program and Project requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Managing the flow of assigned projects from start to finish
- Working with team members to ensure that internal/external customers' expectations are met
- Create and maintain project schedule using MS Project
- Procure and track material orders
- Conduct site visits to understand the project layout
- Collect and interpret financial data for weekly reports to include monitoring Earned Value Reports
- Track and invoice expense reports as required
- Track all project milestones, prepare and submit invoices, track invoice payment status
- Track project milestones and submission of deliverables with project management team
- Provide administrative office support as needed to include labeling and report generation
- Payroll - collecting, verifying approval, resolving questions, and submitting time for on-site and/or off-site personnel
- Perform Data Entry functions as required
- Open project work orders in an internal database system to facilitate project unit tracking and collecting reports to review with Project Managers
- Update existing Auto CAD Drawings with information relevant to structured cabling
- Experience with basic computer skills in MS Office and MS Project
- Experience using and establishing strong organization skills
- Experience with client interfacing
- Experience with learning technical and field applications
- Experience using and developing organizational skills
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must have an active Top Secret Clearance
