Tognetti Consulting are currently working with an Australian Gold producer to find a dynamic and driven Project Geologist to work on a number of exploration programs in the Kalgoorlie region.
This newly created role will see you working on two key projects where initial drilling has returned extremely high grade gold mineralisation. This is an exciting time for the company and a great opportunity for a keen Geologist.
Reporting to the Geology Manager, you will be part of a team that is working on Green and Brownfield projects. You will be responsible for targeting, mapping, planning and executing the drilling projects using geophysical and geochemical exploration methods.
You will be degree qualified in Geology and have 2-4 years Geology experience in Gold or Base metals near mine exploration and the ability to work autonomously.
Also required will be:
- Supervision of RC and Diamond drilling
- Core logging and data collection
- Good interpretation of geological data
- Ability to assist with project design and development
- Ability to manage graduates Geo's, contractors and field assists
- Good report writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
