Project Management Accountant for Global IT business
My client provides business services to FTSE 100 businesses and large public sector organisations. They are continually evolving to the changes in the market and as such have consistently out performed their competitors over the last five years and are set for further sustained growth. They have recently won a new ten year £20mn per annum contract and are in the process of setting up their finance team to support this. . Due to the increased work load they need to appoint an interim contractor to support them.
This role is initially for four months (though may be extended,) taking responsibility for ensuring the costs are accurately attributed to the three subdivisions within their client. This will involve extrapolating data and information from various sources including Excel and also SAP and then compiling the budget model for each of the three businesses.
For this role I am looking for a qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA or CIMA with experience of complex modelling within large companies in industry. Ideally applicants will have an understanding of large complex contracts and have worked in this type of environment before. Advanced excel and data modelling skills are essential. Applicants must have strong communication skills and the ability to quickly grasp the commercial issues affecting the contract.
This finance team and new role will be based in central London in smart offices.
