Position:                    Project Manager

Work Location:         West, Toronto, ON

Contract duration:    6-9 months

 

Accountability

 

·         Overall accountability for the successful implementation of Oracle CCB Customer Care and Billing OEB Regulatory changes that meets business needs and expectations

·         Lead a project team and work with external vendors, business stakeholders and other IT teams to execute all phases of the project

·         There are multiple projects in the CCB Program.  OEB Regulatory change is one of many sub-projects.  PM is responsible for the integration among projects .

·         Deliver the project in compliance with IT project management standards and processes

·         Responsible for project contract management and external vendor management

·         Liaise with other project areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve project issues

·         Accountable for producing high quality project management and application support documentations

·         Identify and report project status, issues, risks and recommend risk mitigation plans

·         Manage change request process.

·         Report project status to PMO, Project Portfolio Lead, and business system owner(s)

·         Communicate with key stakeholders and project sponsors.

·         Partner with the business to design and execute appropriate business process and technology change management strategies to ensure successful project implementation and sustainable results.

·         Responsible for project execution and delivery from project initiation to project closure

 

Competency Requirements

 

·         10+ years experience in managing and delivering mid to large size projects

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant professional designation or combination of equivalent training and applicable experience.

·         PMP certified

·         Proven track record in delivering successful large projects in a complex business and IT environment in a tight timeline from project initiation to closure

·         Exceptional communication (verbal written) and interpersonal skills

·         Experienced and skill in business relationship management

·         Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle

·         Strong problem solving, planning and organization skills

·         Sound knowledge and experience in contract administration and vendor management

·         Experience in the development and implementation of customer service and billing and OEB related projects and business knowledge in customer service will be considered as an asset for this position
