Project Manager

An established and expanding medical communications company, based in London, has a new opening for a Project Manager to join their team of communications experts and develop high-quality materials to support programs. This is a unique opportunity to join a superb team and develop your scientific, communications and project management skills across a wide range of therapy areas.

This is a role which involves extensive project/practice management, including project planning.

The successful candidate will:

- Establish and maintain brilliant relationships with clients and colleagues
- Establish good communication links between project team members
- Manage the delivery of all projects to a high degree of excellence, keeping on
budget and adhering to timelines
- Ensure that the status of projects is communicated to the team
- Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with the agency's standard
operating procedures
- Building good relationships with clients, opinion leaders and external agencies
- Be proficient in commonly used computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Adobe Powerpoint)
- Maintain and update knowledge and expertise in relevant subject areas
- Ensure the agency delivers a high standard of project which meets the client's communication objectives, to budget and on time

This role will see you effectively managing and overseeing a number of projects and leading junior staff members to success as well as delegating and monitoring their work to ensure optimal efficiency. This is an exciting client-facing role where you will ensure that the most effective solutions for your clients are delivered; you will be confident liaising with a number of clients as well as key opinion leaders.

They're also looking for extensive project management experience, a proven track record in successfully delivering projects within a communications agency and some medical or pharmaceutical client experience.

You should be able to turn requirements of a project in to a plan and organise and distribute the needed resources, this should also include a great methodical approach throughout the processes, championing best pro-active and team management. You must be able to prove you're adept in leadership with regards to strategy, finances, client services, team stuff and self-management to be considered.

To take advantage of this role, you must have a bio-science or medical science related degree. Medical communications, pharmaceutical marketing or healthcare publishing experience is highly desirable.
