PROJECT MANAGER
Our client, a global insurance company, is recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee a number of projects within their Corporate Planning and Improvement area. This is an exciting opportunity for a Proejct Manager with solid experience:
- Defining project scope and deliverables
- Activity planning, sequencing and time estimating; development and management of project plans
- Scope management
- Chair / facilitate meetings to track progress
- Stakeholder management
- Resource management
- Issue and Risk management
- Dependency Management
- Quality management
- Cost estimating budget management
- Monitoring, controlling and reporting on project progress to key Stakeholders
- Third party management
Essential experience:
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Risk Management
- Experience conducting outsourcing reviews or experience working on outsourcing projects
- Experience working on projects that involve detecting risk
Proven experience in:
- The successful initiation, planning, execution and closure of projects
- Delivering website, application, operations, risk and organisational change projects
- Managing a project team of up to 15 resources
- Facilitation of project meetings; internal and third parties, including online/conference calls
- Negotiating with all parts of an organisation in order to secure resource and/or budget, meet deadlines, attain approvals, embed process and manage conflicts
Proven ability in:
- Use of MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel and Powerpoint to an advanced level
- Strategic and tactical thinking and application
- Directing, leading and motivation of project teams
Required experience:
- Insurance industry (preferably broker)
- Risk management projects
- Outsourcing projects
