Project Manager 3
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Ft Belvoir, VA. The Project Manager (PM) for the implementation of several Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) related projects will support the JRDC program. The PM will coordinate the installation of IT architecture and infrastructure within newly constructed DoD managed buildings at Ft Belvoir, VA. The PM will also be responsible for the migration of services and MDA personnel impacted by BRAC as well as closeout activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for hiring against all
assigned tasks by completing the following responsibilities: posting
requisitions, interviewing candidates, reporting feedback and
scheduling interviews
determine impacts to the schedule.
HQCC in coordination with other Task PMs
Bimonthly Cost briefings, Bi-monthly status-risk briefings and weekly
standup briefings
situational awareness
property issues as it pertains to needs of the engineers
scheduling, budgeting/cost control and financial reporting utilizing
Earned Value Methodology
process. The PM will communicate with Government clients, external
contractors and internal peer organizations
projects
maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule, managing/mitigating risks
and understanding/coordinating change management impacts (e.g.
negotiate schedules/time)
subsequent budget changes where necessary
expectations with team members and stakeholders and must identify
and resolve issues/conflicts within the project team
members and influence them to take positive action and
accountability for their assigned work
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
discipline and at least 10 years of relevant
experience. Years of experience may be acceptable
in lieu of degree
both written and oral and computer skills
timelines through analytical and problem-solving
capabilities is a must
from a wide variety of stakeholders and to defuse
tension among the project team, should it arise
prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment
technology, networking, computer science or another
related engineering discipline
including Project for scheduling tasks
ability to adhere to financial guidelines
the department and with external organizations and
customers
with military, government civilians and other
contractors is mandatory
Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
