Project Manager

Our client is a large transport organisation at delivery stage of a large Automated Fare Collection project in their rail division.

They currently require a Project Manager to ensure timely and effective delivery of AFC equipment across 60 sites - ticket machines, barriers and validators. The product specifications are in the final stages of negotiation, soon progressing to delivery stage. The Project Manager will be responsible for ongoing supplier management, achievement of key delivery milestones and resolution of "snags". The PM will be assisted by a contract specialist. Contract duration of c. 1 year is forseen.

We require an experienced Project Manager, with a good knowledge of AFC systems, commercially astute, assertive, organised, aware of ITSO compliance requirements and adept at dealing with third party suppliers.
