BANK OFFICE MANAGER / MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER

Bank Mutual is currently seeking an experienced Retail Bank Office Manager / Mortgage Loan Officer for our Portage location. In this position, you will manage the overall operation of the bank office, including staff supervision, to ensure the achievement of established sales, production and operational objectives. This position is responsible for managing the bank office sales program and the development of new business. In addition, the Bank Office Manager / Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for originating and closing mortgage and consumer loans as well as fixed annuity sales.
The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of bank manager, mortgage loan origination experience, a proven sales record and an outgoing, sales-oriented personality. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and associates of the bank is a must. We also require your ability to obtain credit and life insurance licenses within 4 months of employment and be in a position to generate fixed annuity sales within three months of licensing. This position requires registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and compliance with the terms of the SAFE Act.
