General Accountability:

 

The Project Manager reports to the Director, Infrastructure Services. The Project manager is responsible for the planning, executing and finalizing of projects according to strict deadlines and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. 

 

Specific Accountabilities:

 

1.       Plan, coordinate, organize, direct and control project activities to achieve project deliverables.

2.       Provide leadership, advised and expertise to project sponsors and serve as a mentor to other technical and project lead staff.

3.       Manage the overall project; coordinate all the activities to complete on time, within budget in accordance with the project sponsor's satisfaction and within the contracted scope of work.

4.       Direct and co-ordinate the technical employees or consultants in the preparation of studies, plans designs, specifications and implementation.

5.       Prepare cost estimates and project budgets

6.       Prepare proposals in response to client needs.

7.       Provide overall leadership to team member's at all operational levels.

8.       Identification of risks and risk mitigation strategies (contingency planning).]

9.       Prepare technical reports as required to support project initiatives or strategies.

10.    Monitor and control project time lines, budgets and deliverables.

11.    Develop and maintain quality management strategies and plans for projects.

12.    Maintain accurate and complete  documentation on all operational/ contractual matters necessary for project compliance and follow through

13.    Understands and demonstrates the willingness to promote Acrodex's vision and values

 

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills Abilities)

 

1.       Must possess PRINCE2 Certification

2.       Experience with Enterprise infrastructure projects necessary

3.       8+ years Industry experience

4.       String verbal, written and analytical skills

5.       Strong working knowledge of MS Office products.
