This new business development postiion in our Marketing and Product Development division is one of the point positions for our future business growth. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing the features and requirements for the next generation health and wellness platform. This includes the strategy for building relationships with key partners, as well as the technical information and requirements for connecting Omron Healthcare's market leading products with the software platforms that will be the future of comprehensive wellness in the U.S. and Canada. As part of the Marketing and Product Development team, you will manage the project to define and develop this new business area.
In order to be successful, you will need education or experience in software development and at least two years of successful project management experience with complex software projects. This will include scalable database-backed webapps for consumer facing web applications. In order to interact successfully with internal and external partners, you'll need great verbal and written communication and influencing skills, and experience managing custom software projects with global teams. Specific technical skills should include technologies like Java, Stripes, Spring, mySQL, Solr, distributed ehcache, or other object-oriented language.
